Ireland at Last!
Well, after being awake for 40 plus hours we finally arrived on the Emerald Isle about 8pm Dublin time! The good folks at British Airways changed our connecting flight to Ireland but never told anyone! We spend a lovely 6 hours @ heathrow w/ way too much “carry-on” luggage to get into London proper and back. Oh well we had a Fullers London Pride pulled from a Beer Engine and smiled!
As any good Irish couple would do, as soon as we found our B&B and dropped off the belongings we headed out to find dinner. The Bleeding Horse would provide us a two course meal of Guinness and Smithwicks, both poured and presented the way God had intended! I love it here!
Off to fetch our rental car! Oh yeah… that’s gonna be entertaining! More to come………
